Albert Einstein once said "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learnt in school".
This powerful statement made by a genius of science is absolutely true. We all have and definitely experience that real education is a way to live and lead one's life.
A value-oriented and a well focused life lead by a student can have a constructive productive impact.
Students should strive to have a greater positive contribution in a society which shall further the cause of strong nation building.
Further, this is also a fact that an over burdened and an extra pressurised youth cannot have a positive effect in the society.
Students are becoming direction less and due to the pressures of the society are forced to get into a cut-throat Competition to emerge winners.
In this self created 'rat-race', students have in fact lost their innocence somewhere.
The value systems too are deteriorating at a faster pace then ever.
We should remember that the genre of the great RabinderNath Tagore shall always be unmatchable. He obtained education through an informal system of learning which gave him the creative and literary freedom and an edge to be ahead in conventional thoughts at a much younger age.
Let our children also have a free thinking by exploring their creative strengths and vocational inclinations.
Education has the power to shape a child's life. Education is the root which reaps the fruit for any nation.
Now, we as a nation, have to think analytically whether our focus is to impart real education by shaping a student into a true citizen of our country or just by making students a mechanically stressed out robots.
Let us value and respect the creative side of our children.
The real education starts from home itself.
The words and views expressed in my blogs are personal and are my original work of thoughts.
