Grass On The Other Side.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Have we ever thought of a role reversal with any person who to our eyes seems more satisfied and happy in his or her life?
Sometimes due to our current or ongoing situations we wish to have this role reversal.
Our dissatisfaction and unhappiness leads us to think that way.
We wish how fortunate we would have been in someone else's shoes.
Though the real situation is always that the grass always seems greener on the other side.
This is because of our own incapabilities of not being able to find happiness and satisfaction in our situations.
There is always a fluctuation in our minds which leads to further disturbances in our lives.
We only see the rosy picture in other's lives but fail to see and understand the hardships and struggles of that person.
We tend to forget that it is not always the situation which makes us.
Many a times we too are the creators of a particular situation which could have been easily avoided.

If we want to run away from the ups and downs of our lives on the pretext that we have not been that fortunate, it would mean that we are failures who are not ready to accept our faults.
Satisfaction and happiness is many a times self created by the efforts we put in.
Situations can change with our sincere efforts and determination.
It all depends on how we look at our life.
Let us reform our own lives for the most satisfying and best results with immense pleasure.
Be satisfied in whatever we have in our lives and find our true happiness in our own situations.

Voluntary Service - A Blissful Feeling.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

A lot of times we feel a sense of pleasure when we work hard but not for any monetary benefit or profit.
We just work for our inner satisfaction and happiness. As a person we feel that our experience and expertise was required for a particular initiative which we accepted most humbly and without charging even a single penny.
Money is essential to maintain a good standard of living but it cannot buy the real pleasures of life.
The pleasure of respect and love which we get by giving voluntary service is unmatchable.
The feeling of helping someone without any self interest is a blissful experience of life.
Our kind gestuers which spreads happiness are far satisfying than even a million rupees.

Moreover, if our effort becomes a source of motivation and inspiration for others and can be followed is the biggest reward we can get as a human being.
We earn someone's blessings and appreciation.
As a human being it should be our responsibility to think for the society too besides our personal growth.
Our talent and passion becomes more meaningful when it becomes a source of help to raise and Inspire other's life.
We all have only one life to live. Let us limit our personal desires and increase our arena to go out by lending our support in any form by our voluntary service for the society.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

A book is a man's best friend. The world of book is so majestic and vast that if we enter this world, there is no exit from it.

We would definitely wish to explore more word power. May be our need to know more shall even grow with time.

The need to acquire more knowledge. It is the best need a person can desire for. At every age and stage of our human life, we are evolving.

Reading books on different topics helps us in our evolving process.

Our mind functions  more stronger than before.

Reading habit can be like a hobby or a passionate approach to know different things in various fields.

As an adult,  inculcating a good reading habit in our children is also the best gift we can give  them.

To enjoy the world of books itself is such a pleasurable and a joyful experience.

Books involve us in such a manner that without physical detachment from the world we get a mental and emotional time of our own.

A reading interest in our history or the contemporary world, facts or figures, fiction or novels, autobiographies or live experiences, the list is endless.

Reading habit gives us a purpose of living. Our mind concentration increases which does not give us even a single second to waste in our lives.

We have just one life to gain knowledge and read the best sellers of our world.

So let us inculcate a good reading habit in our children from their early young age and also explore this beautiful world of books ourselves.

Be Particular

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Let us be particular about things to enjoy the opportunities of life.
We should follow our good habits and practise them religiously everyday.
Being particular about various day to day activities fills our lives with dynamic energy.
Having and professing an approach which is being particular in all that we do makes us a visionary.
It makes our vision strong by being focused on the detailing part of it.
Having a bent of mind to be particular helps us think out-of-the-box.
Our overall way of thinking will lead us in a direction towards reaching a zone of perfection.
Minute observations of things shall always be in our mind.

Our approach towards life then will take a new turn with more energy and a enthusiastic perspective.
Let us be particular in all our personal and professional endeavors of life.
If we are already particular about our approach in life, it is good and we shall continue the same.
Else, let us change ourselves to being particular about things in life for a better, happy, satisfied and a more particular self.
This shall definitely be more fruitful for us at an individual level.
It shall also set an example for people around us to follow and adopt in their lives too. Lives which shall be more positive and evolved.

The Beauty Of Education.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Albert Einstein once said "Education is what remains after one has forgotten what one has learnt in school".
This powerful statement made by a genius of science is absolutely true. We all have and definitely experience that real education is a way to live and lead one's life.
A value-oriented and a well focused life lead by a student can have a constructive productive impact.
Students should strive to have a greater positive contribution in a society which shall further the cause of strong nation building.
Further, this is also a fact that an over burdened and an extra pressurised youth cannot have a positive effect in the society.
Students are becoming direction less and due to the pressures of the society are forced to get into a cut-throat Competition to emerge winners.
In this self created 'rat-race', students have in fact lost their innocence  somewhere.
The value systems too are deteriorating at a faster pace then ever.

We should remember that the genre of the great RabinderNath Tagore shall always be unmatchable. He obtained education through an informal system of learning which gave him the creative and literary freedom and an edge to be ahead in conventional thoughts at a much younger age.
Let our children also have a free thinking by exploring their creative strengths and vocational inclinations.
Education has the power to shape a child's life. Education is the root which reaps the fruit for any nation.
Now, we as a nation, have to think analytically whether our focus is to impart real education by shaping a student into a true citizen of our country or just by making students a mechanically stressed out robots.
Let us value and respect the creative side of our children.
The real education starts from home itself.

Happy Akshaya Tritiya-The Real Significance.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Akshaya Tritiya is an auspicious day to buy jewellary in the context that the investment made on this day shall increase manifold in times to come.
It is an old belief that if we keep our newly purchased jewellary near our place of worship the Goddess of Wealth shall bestow Her blessings on us. Similarly if we think for peace and prosperity in this world, let us keep the good thought of humanity at the feet of the Super power so that it increases manifold.
Akshaya Tritiya is a tremendously fortunate and a sacred festival which spreads good luck in the form of new schemes and investments.
Let us invest in happiness which increases and spreads all across the globe.
Why do we not start a new way of investment based on morality, values and ethos?.

Let us keep our promises at the feet of the Lord to Save Water and Electricity so that in future no one is deprived of Clean Water and adequate supply of Electricity.
Our promise for growth and development of humanity with a pure heart approach towards life should increase manifold.
Our real investment are our good deeds. So let us wish to increase them with every passing moment.
Let us pray that when we leave this world, people should remember us as a wonderful and a nice human being with a silver smile, golden speech and a diamond heart.

Peace And Prosperity On This Baisakhi.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.
Baisakhi has many names. It is celebrated in different parts of the country in diferrent ways and with different purposes.

Farmers rejoice and the Sikh community is proud.

It is also the beginning of New Year celebrations for the Bengali community. In Assam, the celebrations commence with great pomp and show, smile and laughter.

This day also reminds us of the massive blood-shed at the Jallianwala Bagh where hundreds of innocent people had to lay down their lives to the cruelty of General Dyer who made everyone his target.

But, it was the young like Udham Singh who made a promise to himself to take a revenge. He came back twenty years later and fulfilled his vow on the day of Baisakhi or Vaisakhi as we call it. On this day itself, Bhagirathi brought 'Maa Ganga' to India to bless all of us and to purify our souls with the sacred Ganga Jal.

The beauty of this festival also lies in where the great Guru Gobind Singh established the Khalsa Panth.

What a wonderful and an inspirational festival Baisakhi is. Diversified but yet unified in the times and purpose it is celebrated in.

This festival is such a necklace whose every pearl and bead has its own story to tell and a purpose to celebrate with inspiration.

So let us all rejoice this day and celebrate the occasion.

We should feel proud that we are fortunate to be born in our country - India, a land where the reasons for celebrations are many but the major purpose is to live life to the fullest and value every moment.

HAPPY BAISAKHI TO ALL.....

The Strength Of Internal Human Power.

 Blog By- Dr Jaya Kumar.

Human life is very unpredictable. Anything can happen anytime. Sometimes even our preparation fails and life suddenly takes a u-turn.
Our planning could not be executed because of reasons emerging suddenly.
At this point of time, the one thing which keeps us going is, our internal power.
We look for answers from God, but if we really think deeply we can come to a conclusion ourselves.
The conclusion is that it is our own internal power and strength which has Godly powers.
This is different from being affected by a natural calamity or an unfortunate accident where we have no control over it's happening.
In those times, we may feel that even our internal power is lost since we are practically dwarfed by the magnitude of such an event, but, in all other situations it is only our own internal power which keeps us going.

Going that makes us stronger. God has blessed us all with an internal spark.
It is only ourselves who can ignite it. Ignite and burn all our problems and issues which adversely affect us. It is only ourselves as an individual who can gather all the strength to face the challenges of this world with our heads held high.
Just feel all the strength inside yourself to feel the power of the Almighty.
Feel that He is guiding you to reach your destination.
So just stand up to bounce-back if you are down. We can be down but surely not out till we are alive.
Let us all search for our own internal power and feel the difference it makes in our lives.

Let us recognise the spark of nationalism in our hearts.

Blog by- Dr. Jaya Kumar.

Let us ignite the fire of nationalism in our hearts. We all have the spark of passionate nationalism.
Yes, it is true that we all as Indians are really passionate about our country. We are proud of being an Indian. Though a part of our population really lives with this reality but many others don't even realise this beautiful truth of life.
From our heart and soul we all are pure Indians who are one of the most loving, caring and passionate population in the world.
We shall also witness personally that inspite of fewer facilities in some sectors, the work force at end of the day come out with a happy faces. They giggle with  pure joy.  Sometimes they may be disheartened but still they have high hopes for a brighter tommorow.

A few section of people who are working in a hazardous environment whose troubles and tribulations are even beyond imagination also are satisfied with the little they earn. This is really true love and purest form of nationalism which gives them that extra power to keep going in life.
When we see, read or witness the achievements of our fellow countrymen achieving laurels for the country, we all witness a state of blissful happiness.
It is only that we tend to get so involved in our daily chores that we forget to even celebrate the fervour of our Indianess.
If we really think, we shall conclude that as a nation we are still hopeful for a better and new change because we really value and love our motherland.
Inspite of our daily struggles which everyone of us faces, we keep a positive bent of mind.

( Congratulations to all the Commonwealth Champions. We are proud of you.)

In every achiever we feel a part of ourselves or our children. It means that we all pray silently to our motherland to bestow us with her blessings and to give us opportunity to prove our love for our country.
This nationalism is unmatchable. It is only that we have to ignite the fire in ourselves,  with 'Let us do it', for our motherland for a much beautiful and happier  tommorow as a nation.
Jai Hind..Jai Bharat..

Happy World Health Day

Blog by- Dr.Jaya Kumar.

Always respect and honour professional advice and believe in your power. This combination really works.

Our human body has a universe of its own. It has a system working continuously, all by itself. In fact, our body possesses a strong self healing power. It has it's own processes of cleaning and removing all the toxins from the body.

Repairing all the tissues and cells of the body.

Detoxification of body with the help of various herbs.

Since every body is different, we should think of rejuvenating and refreshing our bodies periodically in our own way.

Our bodies need a systematic cleaning process. The cleaning of both the physical body and the soul.

Our body, through its natural cleansing processes, and the soul, through meditation and connection with God, the AllMighty.

Generate your inner power to fight with the toxins inside your body and to purify and refreshen it.

SO LET US TAKE ON THE FIGHT WITH OUR TOXINS TO LEAD A BEAUTIFUL AND HEALTHY LIFE...

Health is and should be our first priority in life. We tend to be busy in our daily chores so much that we tend to ignore our biggest priority in life.

We get so involved in our work that, it takes a toll on our health. We realise it when we fall sick. We later feel what we have done to ourselves. Sometimes, we are so involved in others happiness, sorrows or to just make them happy that we suffer ourselves.

Our body starts to work like a clock and we also feel happy for it. But at end of the day, we push ourselves so hard that we suffer physically. Though, as a human being it should be our priority to fulfill all our responsibilities smilingly but if our health suffers in the process then how shall we be able to work in future? What shall we be able to do about our future endeavours?

So whatever be the situation, start focusing on your health today itself. Health is not only your biggest wealth but it is also your biggest strength. If, we as a person will be healthy only then we would be able to give our best for our loved ones. Lead a healthy life forever.

MAY WE ALL PUT IN GOOD EFFORTS TO LEAD A HEALTHY LIFE EVERYDAY FOREVER KEEPING IN MIND MY OPENING STATEMENT ABOVE.

HEALTHY INDIA..CLEAN INDIA..

Let us try to maintain a unified and a harmonious atmosphere around us all the time.

Blog by- Dr.Jaya Kumar.

Sometimes we lose our patience for a simple reason that our trust and faith has been broken.
Though we have had many chances by being very patient earlier, but at some point of time when there is a breach of trust, we are left shaken and saddened.
A big question strikes our mind continuously. How much time we can give to the other person (s)?
The time may be given by us out of respect and hope but if we donot get a positive response we are disheartened.
Sometimes when we observe the happenings around us, something strikes us.

Was the person who lost his patience in a particular situation absolutely wrong?
No wrong and invalid act can be justified with excuses and reasons.
There may be some validity in his points too.
Maybe the view point put up by him was totally and completely justified.
Yes, losing patience at times is a condemnable act, but let us also think of the person who himself lost his peace of mind because of other's mistakes.
Losing patience shall directly effect his mindset too.
So, as a person we should not give anyone a chance to lose his or her patience for valid reasons.

Disturbing someone's peace of mind too is a very demeaning act.
If we linger on with the problem and not solve it then definitely more problems shall follow.
Therefore it is better to cut short any dispute, problem or a pending work which involves other people.
Why should inefficiency of other effect someone else?
What is the need to test someone's patience for long?
The other person may just need your assurance and implementation of your promises within the promised time frame for establishing cordial relations and a cordial environment.
A peaceful, unified, happy and a harmonious atmosphere is unmatchable.
Let us try to maintain this in our lives, always.

Value even the smallest opportunity of your life.

Blog by- Dr.Jaya Kumar.

An opportunity just slips out our hands if we never realize its worth and importance.
At times we never value what we already have been blessed with.
Infact the genesis of all the problems in this world is our lack of valuing the things or people who are making our lives worth living.
Many of us get opportunities in life but they go wasted because we never value what we have with us.

In the bigger scheme of things as well, the opportunity for prosperity, development and growth goes wasted because of our insensitivity.
Sometimes as a person, seeing the present scenario, one feels disappointed, disillusioned and disheartened on the thought that inspite of so much of advancement and world exposure, the opportunity to develop a harmonious and a developed society is still a dream.
Even at our personal fronts inspite of so much of comforts, there is a lack of energy and passion in what we do.
Let us leave aside our differences, selfishness and lethargies of life and start valuing the worth of care, love, freedom and importance of a peaceful and productive atmosphere.

Don't Worry, Be Happy.

Blog by- Dr.Jaya Kumar.

It is easy to say that we should not worry about the happenings going around us.
We should be happy in every circumstance but it is really very difficult to accept and follow this in reality.
Sometimes due to some incidents in our lives we are left shattered and heartbroken.
Though we really donot want to worry or even think about it but still the memories of such an incident strikes our mind again.
It disturbs our mind and gives us a feeling of being back-stabbed.
It even effects our happiness quotient and takes away our smile.
The question which revolves in our mind is as to why have I been affected without any fault of mine.
Again and again the same question strikes back. Why me?

We as human beings sometimes really face disappointment in our lives.
Though if we analytically think, we shall conclude that whatever happened was may be bound to happen.
So why to really worry about it? Let the nature takes its own course.
Let us try to adopt the philosophy of 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' in reality because nothing is more valuable than our happiness and precious time in life.
