Tough people can handle tough situations.

A few days back I got an opportunity to be in the 'God's own country', Kerala.
I was totally mesmerized with the beauty and peace in the state. Though the situation due to incessant rain and flooding in the state had not become so grim when I reached for a few days stay in the state, I was witness to the beginning of the big calamity and devastation coming on to the state in days to follow.
It felt as if the rain would not stop and continuously keep showering for many days in succession.

Even though the situation was alarming but still me and my family felt a strong faith for everyone to come out of this situation.
The reason for this faith was the toughness of the people of this land.
The strong determination  and a tough will-power of the local people to come out of the inevitable natural calamity situation with a strong unified approach.
Everyone was ready to help each other with whatever they could and fight the situation together.

The rainfall was thunderous but even then people were putting in the best of their efforts to fight as a combined army to clear the ways and passages on roads and paths.
The evacuation and cleaning process was quick and speedy. I was just praying that the situation should come under control fast and give relief to the people of Kerala who exhibited the real lesson of toughness of survival.
May God prevent natural devastation and bring back peace and prosperity in the state.
May the blossoming of the famous 'Neelkurinji flower' blossom in the state as it does after every 12 years.

The words and views expressed in my blogs are personal and are my original work of thoughts.
