Today's story: 'THE INSPIRING MAN'.
Neha, her husband Sohit along with their son Hari had gone to attend a wedding-anniversary party at Inder's house.
Inder is Neha's maternal aunt's son, a doctor by profession.
Hari, Neha's son, was growing up and gifted to become a polished 'tabla' player. Inder, while inviting Sohit and his family for his party, had requested Sohit for Hari to play his beautiful musical instrument 'the tabla', through a performance at his party.
Sohit agreed to this request of Inder lovingly. 'Why not?' thought Sohit. Once when Hari was very young and for the very first time he put his hands on tabla and showed that he had the ability to not only just play it but play it beautifully too. This incident happened at his same maternal uncle, Inder's house, so, as a mark of respect for Inder and his wife Kavita, Sohit agreed instantly.
Hari, prepared a lovely performance for the party.
On the day of the party, Sohit, Neha and Hari reached Inder's house well on time.
'Time is the most precious thing'. A philosophy Neha and family always believed in and practiced too.
On reaching their house, they congratulated both Inder and Kavita happily and made themselves comfortable.
Other guests too started coming in. Among them, Neha's attention was caught by a couple who was not known to her as she had seen them for the first time. The couple was not young but was looking very smart and elegant as they entered the party. Neha was impressed by their attire and persona. They both had a grace and aura about them. Neha felt nice to see a couple who looked dignified and were ageing gracefully as well.
Not knowing them personally, as they were Inder's professional guests, and even with no formal introduction with them, Neha could feel a certain connection with them because of their pleasing and inspiring personality. The party went on and later as the dinner was about to be served, Neha reminded Inder about Hari's performance that he had requested for.
Inder requested everyone to gather together to witness Hari's performance.
Neha and Sohit made a small make-shift stage to make Hari's performance look special.
Both of them not only love Hari, but also respect him as a human being. So, they always make it a point that Hari's efforts are well recognized and appreciated by all.
Hari started his performance and conducted himself gracefully. He gave a beautiful, melodious and a classic presentation. His hardwork could be seen through his lovely performance.
Everyone present there applauded Hari for his performance.
Inder also felt proud since the presentation was dedicated to him by young Hari. As he was thanking Hari for his splendid performance, from among all guests present there, a dignified and graceful man very confidently and fearlessly came forward and asked Inder to hand over the mike to him as he too wished to say something about Hari's performance. He said that he wished to share some of his personal feelings after watching Hari's performance.
Acknowledging his request, Inder introduced that genltleman as his mentor and guide whose name was Dr. Naveen. He is a very senior, well-respected and a renowned doctor in the field of medicine. He is also the chief of a well-reputed hospital as well as head of department in a leading hospital in the country.
That day, Dr. Naveen was also accompanied by his wife Dr. Bindu.
Neha had listened carefully to the introduction given about Dr. Naveen and thought that sometimes one does not need any introduction specifically. Besides your name, your personality too speaks a thousand words.
Neha was all ears to what Dr.Naveen would speak. First, Dr.Naveen very affectionately and lovingly hugged Hari. He then started praising Hari for his lovely performance. Dr. Naveen shared that he was so overwhelmed by Hari's performance that he felt that it gave a new life to the party and made it worth coming to and worth remembering.
Dr. Naveen blessed Hari wholeheartedly and wished great success to Hari for his future endeavours. He also praised Neha and Sohit for their all-round efforts and a cultured-upbringing for Hari.
Neha, Sohit and Hari felt deeply honoured and touched by Dr. Naveen's words. His words had a great value for them. Every word coming from him was big and had lots of weightage.
There was no formal introduction done with Dr.Naveen, but he instantly developed a connection with Neha, Sohit and Hari.
Dr. Naveen words had truth, his speech had power and his personality clearly exhibited that Dr. Naveen must be a self-made man who had a different outlook towards life.
Dr. Naveen's confident demeanour showed his knowledge and experience.
Afterwards, Neha, Sohit, Hari and Dr. Naveen had an informal conversation where every word which was exchanged between them was inspirational, motivational, encouraging, concrete and full of knowledge.
This meeting became memorable one.
