Donot Become Casual And Mislead Yourself.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

We often come to know that something is going wrong in our lives but  still we ignore it.
We tend to show and believe that everything is fine. We become casual in our approach and attitude, but still we are fine.
We know we are following an indisciplined routine but we still are fine. We develop a habit of being fine with everything which is hampering us as a person or as a society.
We can also easily feel and see the repercussions of our casual habit of being fine with everything.
We ignore those indications which give us a clear and fair picture of ourselves.
Our lethargy, fear or lack of confidence stops us to face the truth of our lives.
We have to start working and improving our situation before it is too late.
We tend to become like a pigeon who by closing his eyes feels that the cat in front has gone away.

Many of us know what happens after that. Pigeon becomes cat's prey and its life comes to a tragic end.
If the pigeon struggled for his life or would have really valued being alive, the situation could have been different.
Life is really precious. We shall have only one chance and opportunity to love it, or to leave it.
As an individual, it depends on our choice and wish to choose the path of becoming casual by misleading ourselves.
It also depends on our determination and promise made to ourself by becoming conscious and responsible towards things happening in and around our lives.

May I Help You

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The line 'May I help you', provides so much of comfort to the person who is really in need of help.
It feels like a God sent angel is standing to help you to solve your problems.
Now a days in many exhibitions, public fairs or various events we witness young boys and girls working as 'May I help you', volunteers.
These volunteers are recruited to help people with all kinds of information regarding the event.

They attend the guests and provide them with any help they require as a good host gesture.
This sentence which is written on their T-shirts, gives a feeling of support and security to all the visitors.
We may as a visitor or a guest never need their help but still they fill the atmosphere with a positive energy.

It feels like an affectionate gesture shown by the person who does not even know you.
Let us all learn from this at our personal and professional level and adopt a similar helpful and kind gesture in our lives.
'May I help you', will definitely act as a loving and caring gesture at a personal level.
As regarding the professional level 'May I help you', boosts everyone's morale and confidence.

This teaches us to always be even more humane and humble towards each other.

A Real Man

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The world  celebrated International Women's Day with great enthusiasm. Messages to wish happy women's day circulated everywhere. These messages were being circulated within different groups with mostly the women coming forward to share them. The men in various groups generally maintain silence when women in general have to be respected and regarded.
It is not only about the women of the house. Coming forward and expressing opinions on women issues is the need of the hour by men too.
Education of women is necessary but understanding and valuing their opinion by men is much more important.

Any society can only progress when a woman's view points are respected at both the personal and professional fronts.
Understanding of responsibility by men towards women is most essential.
Both the genders have to walk with dignity and grace with each others' assurance.
The issue is not to prove one's supremacy or regarding who is superior or inferior.
The objective is to walk gracefully towards the path of growth, betterment, security and development of the society. Even to lead a happy life on the personal front, the atmosphere among the family members should be respectful and of understanding nature.
Sensible and correct voice, which may come from anyone, shall count.
The approach should be to listen, implement, appreciate and acknowledge it without gender difference.
Women in general are regarded as soft hearted. The men should not hesitate to take pride in becoming sensitive hearted  towards women in general.

Let Us Shed Our Negativities.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

For past several years I have been observing a tree which stands majestically inspiring for me. I always observe it minutely.
The majestic inspiration of the tree is its shedding of all the unwanted old leaves and subsequently growing of new fresh ones.
Though it can be termed and taken as a natural phenomenon but what becomes inspiring is its energised and refreshed look.

Several times we human beings carry our old burden on our shoulders which becomes a reason of frustration and disappointment.
Why do we not learn from a majestic tree to shed away our negativities in all ways.
Let us also put in our efforts to shed our egos, jealousies, fears, laziness, lethargy, anger, intolerance and every negative point which takes away our energy and changes our personalities for the worst.
The external cleaning by getting haircuts and facials surely helps us temporarily in our beautification, but our internal cleaning of our mind, body and soul by shedding wrong, incorrect, unethical and negative thoughts, actions, words and ideas shall give us a refreshed and a rejuvenated look and self by filling our lives with calmness, happiness and blissful feelings forever.

The Royal Mughal Garden

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

(All the photographs and videos in this blog have been taken by me and are from my personal collection.)

One feels refreshed after visiting the majestic Mughal Garden at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, New Delhi.
As one enters the premises, one starts getting a royal feeling.
As one continues to walk, beautiful wide roads welcome one at the entrance of a royal and colourful much awaited treat for the eyes.
The vast- spread herbal garden has the best variety of available medicinal plants.
The air which blows feels so refreshing and therapeutic.

Then comes the beautiful Bonsai park. The miniaturised size of large grown trees which are even more than a decade old are so cute to be admired.
As we move forward, a large variety of beautiful flora welcomes you with majestic colours and natural fragrances.
The water from fountains flow like the music of 'Jal Tarang'.

The lush green carpet of grass spreads to give one a feeling of red carpet welcome.
You just get an out of the world feeling. As one approaches the exit gate, a feeling to part yourself away from lovely nature fills your heart.
But surely a visit to the Mughal Garden is a much awaited annual event which ignites beautiful blossoming of our hearts.

Happy Women's Day

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Woman is a name for Strength. Woman is love. She is an epitome of beauty. She is loving care and affection.

She is a woman of thoughts and actions who binds everything together.

A woman acts as a financial adviser as well as a home-maker. She confidently steps in the outside world and makes her mark and makes her presence felt.

At the home front she is the home minister. She nurtures the future generations.

It is with her efforts that a House becomes a Home. She is the 'heart' of her home.

She acts like a guiding force for all the members.

She herself may be sad at times but would keep everyone around her happy. She herself could be in pain but would be ready to give pleasure to her loved ones.

In all circumstances, she would be ready to fullfill all her responsibilities since she sincerely feels happy doing them.

A Woman makes, nurtures, imparts and inculcates various values to everyone around her especially the children.

So let us on the occasion of Women's Day, thank all the women in our lives who have made the difference in our lives.

SALUTE TO THE WOMAN POWER.
