Beautiful Childhood Stories.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

Do we all remember the old stories of Grandma and Grandpa or the 'Panchatantra' which we used to read and enjoy as young children.
I am sure we all used to love the characters of those stories and the way the stories ended with a moral lesson.
The crux of the whole story lied in the moral teachings taught by the particular story.
May be at a tender age when everything looks rosy and leading a life looks so smooth many of us would have not realised the true depth of the moral of the stories.
As we grow older we come face to face with the true realities and the hardships of everyday life.
It is at these times that the moral of those stories and their characters can be associated with the reality and become relevant. An in-depth understanding of those morals could act like a direction forward.

As grown-ups we always feel that those stories were meant for children but if we start reading any story written for children, we shall realise that many questions which are unanswered in our lives have a solution hidden in the moral of the story.
Sometimes the solution to several problems lies in the things which we can understand later because of the maturity, experience and facing the hardships and reality of life and the ability to associate the morals with reality.
So let us once again sometimes go back and enjoy the beautiful childhood stories by understanding the characters and the morals of the stories which holds relevance in our lives.

Spread your wings and fly

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

As a human being we are living a collective life but if we think a little deeply, we all are individual entities in this universe.
The way we think and look at things are different from each other's perspective.
This is because only we know what is going in our thought processes.
Our analysis and conclusions are only ours.
As an individual our cosmic connect with the universe is different from anyone else therefore in this context, as a social obligation, we should not pressurise anyone or intrude in his or her personal sphere.
Relationships and attachments are man- made.

Else irrespective of the age and relation, we are born as individual identities.
Social pressures tend to become social obligations to the individuality of a particular person.
We at personal level are answerable to only those whom we feel to give answers and who are allowed to enter our personal sphere.
Personally our decisions should be respected without questioning the reason (s) behind.
Pressure tends to become a burden and a binding of certain things, which curtails an individuals freedom.
So, let the world be like an open sky and let every individual take their own flights in the sky as per their own capabilities and desires with a beautiful aspect of freedom.

Rakshabandhan is a strong bond of trust and respect.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The beauty of any festival is when it is celebrated with it's complete piousness. The strength of a bond of 'Rakshabandhan' binds two people together in an unsaid relationship of security and faith.
The sanctity of this festival which is not confined to one relationship but spreads its wings to many beautiful bonds.
'Rakshabandhan', as the word suggests is a bond of security with a life-long promise to fullfil it with a true heart.

Many stories are attached to this festival where it is not only the sharing of love between a brother and a sister but also with a person in whose shelter and company we feel a sense of warmth, protection and loving security.
It is a special bond which can also be celebrated as a life-long commitment between a husband and a wife, a mother and a son and even between distant trustworthy people.
It is a day of sharing good wishes which are above all the worldly things.
A day to spend a fruitful, loving and respectful time with your treasured- bond person.
So, let us celebrate this festival with all its glory and collectively pray for happiness and wellness of humanity and universal brotherhood.

Either we cry in pain or face any situation with a smile.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

We sometimes have only two options in hand. It depends on us to either choose the positive option or opt for the other situation which is negative that shall take us towards a shell of painful thoughts.
How powerful we want to be is always in our own hands.
The pain can also become pleasure if we fully prepared to face it with a smiling and a positive attitude.
The attitude of 'Get Set Go', with a more optimistic view.
We think that some happenings in our life are determined by someone else, but if we carefully look at those situations, it is generally our own choice of options to break or be brave at that point.
The only thing in this context is the truthfulness of our heart and wish to become happy.

Pain becomes more painful if we start feeling it's pain but can turn into a pleasurable experience if we cut ourselves from even the slightest thought of that disturbing pain.
We have to come out as a brave-heart to win over our own painful complexities of life.
Life we acknowledge is not really easy to live but if we adopt a determined approach which is 'Rock Solid', the journey of life shall become a happy experience which teaches us tough lessons.
The tough lessons which we read and enjoyed with a 'Smile'.

Tough people can handle tough situations.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

(All the photographs used in my blog are clicked by me and my family.)

A few days back I got an opportunity to be in the 'God's own country', Kerala.
I was totally mesmerized with the beauty and peace in the state. Though the situation due to incessant rain and flooding in the state had not become so grim when I reached for a few days stay in the state, I was witness to the beginning of the big calamity and devastation coming on to the state in days to follow.
It felt as if the rain would not stop and continuously keep showering for many days in succession.

Even though the situation was alarming but still me and my family felt a strong faith for everyone to come out of this situation.
The reason for this faith was the toughness of the people of this land.
The strong determination  and a tough will-power of the local people to come out of the inevitable natural calamity situation with a strong unified approach.
Everyone was ready to help each other with whatever they could and fight the situation together.

The rainfall was thunderous but even then people were putting in the best of their efforts to fight as a combined army to clear the ways and passages on roads and paths.
The evacuation and cleaning process was quick and speedy. I was just praying that the situation should come under control fast and give relief to the people of Kerala who exhibited the real lesson of toughness of survival.
May God prevent natural devastation and bring back peace and prosperity in the state.
May the blossoming of the famous 'Neelkurinji flower' blossom in the state as it does after every 12 years.

Magical Hand Of A Surgeon.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The magical hand which gives assurance to the world. An assurance with a smile which speaks a million words.
Many a times silence is a speech in itself. The words coming from the heart conveying the message 'Donot worry, everything shall be fine because I am there for you'.
The heart at that moment feels as if someone is showering millions of blessings on you for your wellness and happiness.
All the fears and apprehensions just fly away.
As a human being you feel an inner power and strength to cross the hurdles as you know that an assurance of ,'All Is Well' is with you.
The experience and the expertise of the warm loving powerful hands shall take good care of you.
The heart- beat which was feeling a shiver of fear and pain, suddenly gets a positive feeling of bouncing back as a 'Fearless Tiger'.

All the pain turns into pleasure and our outlook totally changes towards being more inspiring and  positive.
The will and wish to live a pain- free life ignites like a sparkling light in one's heart.
This magic creates wonders for a new beginning and assurance in one's life.
The loving and smiling assurance of a Doctor to his patient to feel relaxed and forget and leave the feeling of pain and trouble behind.
To just think beautifully of the beginning  like the rising sun with brightness that shall shine in the world and take darkness away .
A heart-felt thank you to the magic of a surgeon's hand.
The love, warmth and security as an affirmation for a healthy and pain-free life ahead shall always be remembered as moments of deepest emotions with a sense of gratitude and  respect.

Happy Independence Day

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The fervour and flavour of the Independence day is beyond words.
Feeling free and independent is a wonderful emotion on the occasion of Independence Day.
The whole nation is deeply immersed in the tri colours of our national flag.
The joy and bliss fills every Indian heart. The hearts which beats for the love of our incredible country, India.
The magical and magnificent country which unfolds its immense culture, value, heritage and beauty to every viewer.
The sacrifices of our armed forces for maintaining the respect and dignity of our tricolour deserve a big salute with deep emotions of gratitude and respect.
Every citizen who is working for a strong nation-building and its development and advancement should celebrate the festivity of our national festival 'Independence Day', with a sense of nationalist pride.
The younger generations should pledge to build a new India filled with more positive hope and opportunities.

Wishing peace, tranquility and humanity by contributing in building a harmonious productive environment for the country.
'Independence Day' should not be just a day but a heart filled celebration of valuing our fundamental rights and to make a promise to abide by all the fundamental duties also as a citizen of this largest democratic country.
The day of Independence is to deep root the feeling of patriotism and nationalism above everything else.
I have always felt that one life is less to explore the beauty and vastness of our country but one life is long enough to love our country and to be proud to be born as an Indian.
'Happy Independence Day' to our dear motherland. Let us make a life long promise to fullfil the expectations and responsibilities of being a true citizen of our , 'Incredible India'.

The more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war.

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

It is so rightly said that the more you sweat in peace, the less you bleed in war. It is surely better to sweat rather than bleed.
The sweat of practice which shall prepare us to face any war or hurdle we face in life.
The war for a better survival. The preparation work has to be solid and concrete.
It has to be filled with complete confidence and discipline towards preparation of facing the challenges.
At the time of peace or when all is going well, we have to build a stability of mind which shall work to give a peace of mind to us.

Though in the initial stage of practicing and sweating in peace could be very cumbersome and hard but the result shall be a smooth end in the final war.
As a human being we donot have to wait for the final battle to begin where we might fight as a looser though instead we should fight as a well prepared fighter who is well-equipped and trained with all the technicalities, tricks and intricacies of war.
The ultimate target should be to win over the challenges and emerge victorious in any war of life.

The Journey Of Water

Blog by-Dr Jaya Kumar.

The depth and calmness of water unfolds a beautiful story. The story where we take a journey through various water bodies, islands and plateaues.
Whatever extent till our eyes can see, we witness the vastness of water.
The colourless water, with floating plants on it is a great combination.
The beauty of the ocean and sea-life is a majestic feature of the environment.
Standing near a water body and enjoying lovely water waves is a very unique and different experience.
To take the experience further of the never ending story of water, we can book a ride on any water transport and enjoy being in the middle of water.

This takes you on a ride in water where you feel like a mermaid. Our body experiences freshness and rejuvenation.
This acts like a water therapy for the whole body where both internally and externally we feel a refreshing experience of the complete body, mind and soul.
